SUMMARY:Last 2025 Special Olympics Swim Practice
DESCRIPTION:Special Olympics swim practice will continue until Spring of 2025 as well. Practice will run each Wednesday from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Boyertown YMCA. Helping Hands will provide staffing if an individual that needs assistance would like to join these practices (there is also a free swim area where individuals are not required to swim laps). \nIf you have already been attending swimming\, there is no need to call to sign up. However\, if you are new to swimming or have not attended in a while\, please call or email Jaimee or Wendy to let us know you will be joining. \nThe swimming season will conclude on April 30th\, 2025 with a pizza party at the Multi-Service center.

SUMMARY:2025 Shore Weekend #3
DESCRIPTION:This season we will be hosting three shore weekend getaways at the Helping Hands Shore house. These weekends will take place March 14th – 16th\, April 11th – 13th\, and May 2nd – 4th. \nParticipants will arrive at the Helping Hands office at 12:00pm on the Friday of their scheduled weekend and return around 7:00pm on their scheduled Sunday. \nThe cost for these shore weekends is $260 per night\, $520 per weekend. We do accept waiver-funding for these weekends as well. To sign up for either shore weekend\, please contact the main office at 610-754-6491. These weekends will be first come\, first served and spots will be limited.
