The Helping Hands Residential Program takes great pride in providing a warm, safe, caring, home-like setting for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while meeting the needs and unique challenges that these individuals may face on a daily basis. The program is designed to provide personalized care from age 21 through end of life, while encouraging family involvement. Residents enjoy family-style meals together, personalized bedrooms, as well as picnics, gatherings, birthdays, and holiday events with other group homes.
Each individual’s specific health requirements are accommodated, along with specialized nutritional, therapeutic, behavioral, educational, employment, and day programming needs. We also recognize the importance of ensuring each individual is provided with the appropriate support to integrate into their home community in order to be a valued member, forge personal relationships, and live their best everyday life.
